The Cave Story

Folklore Story ~ This is an ancient Folklore story of great importance. It has 

been passed on through the generations by word of mouth~Plato and Socrates knew of this story.

It was told that there was a Cave filled with the blackest darkness that there ever was.

Every nook and cranny was so thick with the darkness that it was impossible to

see your own hand in front of you…it totally was in the absence of light and

filled with the taint of wickedness, fear, and evil imaginations.

One day it heard a rumor coming from outside the Cave. The rumor was that there

was “Light” outside the Cave.  The darkness wandered out to “take a peek”...it saw the

“Light” and scurried quickly back into the Cave.  The darkness became curious and again journeyed out and decided to “Invite” the Light into the Cave. 

The “Light” accepted the invitation and entered the Cave and began shouting loudly 

“Cave, Where is your darkness? ~ Shouting again "Where is your darkness”?  The Light was so bright and dazzlingly that it filled the Cave with the luminescent radiance of Itself. It was Fearless, Confident, Happy, Full of Love, Peace, and Contentment. 

Where did the darkness go?

There never was darkness!  When the “Light” of Christ is invited into your (cave)

Consciousness.  Then the darkness is gone...We realize that all the evils that held us in bondage and riddled us with fear and suffering were just the illusions of the mist, a human egoic belief that we were ever separated from God. (This is a universal hypnotic belief)
